Havent ever done this before lol but here it goes. I love to have a good time and spent a majority of time around drama- no es bueno!! Friends are important to me and so is my family. What to write about myself, well I am on here looking to make friends and maybe have something grown from there. I firmly believe you need to be friends with someone before you could date them, since lets be honest we all wish we could date our best friend since they understand us the best haha.
I do admit I am a tiny bit jaded still, I was with a girl for a very long time and it didn't work out. Then spent sometime being all emo depressing and whatnot and now I am at the point of what next. I am picking myself back up and willing to give it another try to find the dorky girl that's right for me or who can put up with my smart ass.

I currently hold down a good job with a public works company, its a good 40 hour a week job. Nothing amazing but it's helping me with my bills and living so what more can I ask for. Besides if I ended up rich I'd just give it all away to people I know, I am weird like that. Money comes and money goes, but we can always make more.
If you can't tell I am a pretty layed back person, I have learned over the years to not worry over the small stuff and things we can't control and to just enjoy life well it's here. Hello! Well, I love spending time outside, listening to music with a bonfire is probably one of the most relaxing things I can think of... Live music is so important to me...I love listening to a good band and I have been known to dance in my kitchen while cooking!

I make jewelry, not some "lets throw some beads on a string" type but more multi media neclaces and such. I don't get to spend near enough time doing because of work, but still try to sit down everyonce in a while to streatch my creative legs. I dabble in sewing and photography as well. Sewing usually only comes into play when I need a cheap gift that acutally means more than buying something...

I'm pretty laid back and up for anything. I really just want someone who's interested in going out and doing "stuff" together. I get really tired of having to go out on my own and would love someone to go to the zoo with or dinner in the city....whatever! We can wander around the park and take photos or have a picnic and just relax...you're call.

So is this where I'm supposed to talk about how wonderful and amazing I am? I can probably be summed up in one word: unpredictable. And I mean that in a very good way. I'm very responsible when it comes to work but I also like to do something on a moments notice when I have free time. Although I'm now 30 I have a young soul who doesn't like to watch the days pass by watching tv or being in a routine. Although I do admit I'm hibernating a bit right now because I'm not used to this cold weather.

I have an 8 year old daughter who I adore and live my life for. She keeps me young and gives me a reason to throw snowballs, jump in mud puddles or play hide and seek.

Im a 23 year old guy that is great to hang out with, im not really shy and im probably the easiest guy to get along with. Im starting to live life the way its ment to be, and thats if there's something you wanna do than do it! If you see a person you wanna talk to go do it, if you see an ice cream flavor you wanna try, than do it! So far its paying off by living life to the fullest and then creating your confidence so why not? Also i'm a really open person so I don't have a filter on what not to do when it comes to first starting a friendship. So i'm sorry if it seem's like I come off strong but its just me being friendly. I enjoy going to a bar/pub on a weekend evening, but I've never been a fan of trying to meet people there, as Iâ??d rather spend time with my friends and chat/relax. Also, I enjoy hanging out at home, or going to concerts, movies, or on road trips. I play golf once or twice a week, though I love to play or watch almost any sport (love football and baseball) and listen to almost any type music (my ipod is my favorite toy). Any live music act or big sporting event, I'm usually all for it, and will travel to see them. I tend to always have a good story too, and can be an instigator for funny events. Like the time I told the now vice-president that heâ??s a fool (in so many words), or the argument I got into with Coach K at Duke after a speaker caught on fire while he was talking to a large crowd (totally not my fault, I swear!). Oh, I also love to travel, but hate to fly. I've had several flight attendants laugh at my reaction to turbulence before.

So I'm tired of dating so I decided to come on here and try this out after many bad "dates", if you can even call them that. I'm looking for a genuine, sincere guy who is trust worthy, fun, and caring. In general, I'm not a "take everything serious" kind of guy. I'm pretty laid back and just want to enjoy things. I want someone who feels the same way and doesn't want to waste time with worry and bitterness. I'm definitely one of the more optimistic people in the world. I really stink at just writing a blurb about myself. Below is a half arsed attempt at it though.

I like to go out and have fun with my friends. I know fun can be such a general term so I shall try to expand on that. By fun I can mean just going to the movies, dinner, a dive bar, I don't really party and get buck wild. One time my pals and I went to a burlesque show, that was interesting fun. How did I do there?? Less generalized? I think so! I enjoy snowboarding in winter and beach bumming in summer, too. Oh I also enjoy shopping, sometimes a bit much.

Let me think, I would also have to say I am a bit of an enigma to some, or so I have been told.

Oh I must say that I really like music,movies, and books. Though sometimes I read too much in to them.

A good date idea to me is bowling, I am bad at bowling so its just pure fun for me. Movies and bars are a bad start for me, drinking or not being able to talk, are you kidding me?!

Oh, piquant has an asterik after it due to the fact it can have a negitive connotation to it. After all a synonym is pungent. I feel the definition of piquant that is best to describe me here is 'engagingly provocative; also : having a lively arch charm'. One may have to use Google to understand where I am going with this.

I am a very laid back individual who enjoys learning new things, exploring new places and enjoying everything life has to offer. I am an honest person, which sometimes isn't a good thing. I do not use people and thus would never lead someone on ..... if we meet and there is no interest - I will simply say that and I would appreciate the same in return. I realize looks aren't everything but there is that thing called "attraction". What one person thinks is attractive may not be to the person standing next to them ..... and that's cool.

Though I am divorced, in my 40s, heavyset (or voluptuous framed) - that does not mean that I will settle for the first person to show me affection. I am a very self-confident person and though I would enjoy finding someone special to spend time with, it is not a necessity. There is a saying and it's true in my case - "I'd rather be alone then in a relationship for the sake of a relationship and be lonely".

Well apparently I'm supposed to make this page stand out amongst everyone else's. So... I don't play computer games, I'm not into anime, I don't have a neckbeard, I weigh well under 300lbs, and I bathe regularly! Hopefully all of that is in my favor!

Anyway I'm a 21 year old college student with a wide and sometimes odd range of interests including trying to find good music, going on random adventures to places like Chicago, Iowa, or simply Target. I love having a good conversation even if it's not about anything of particular, although I do enjoy getting into politics. Many people know me as kind, loving, and very loyal, and I really hope to be seen as such by all.

I "do sound" a lot. As in I run the sound board for live plays, bands, concerts, evil rich PTA plays, etc... I'm friends with a lot of musicians, and frankly I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have a few life goals, one of which is to obtain the giant talking Olmec head from Legends of the Hidden Temple.

I moved here from AZ. one and half yrs ago. I know I know your think I crazy but I wanted to be near my daughter and 5 grandchildren they are my life and there is lots of green and fresh air here. I love all the seasons, fall is my favorite.
I like to read and watch movies, go out to eat and like to cook and try new recipes.
My music is most styles except rap. Love to go to Plays, Concerts, Art and Science Museums. Not into the bar scene, I don't drink but don't mind if you do as long as you don't HAVE to. I don't smoke, quit 9 yrs ago.
I love animals, so if your into sport hunting do not apply but I do like to camp and fish. Traveling is good.

What is there to say really? I'm just an odd girl who spends her time with the one she loves and a sweet little cat who has taken on the traits of his owner good and bad. I spend all my time watching HGTV and Food Network while reading Martha Stewart's magazine and whatever new cookbook I may have come across. I love bowls, large cups, and small forks. The Dark Knight truly is one of the best movies ever not just one that you really like because a certain someone was dangerously mixing meds and ended up dead therefore RUINING any sequel...unless of course Depp is the Riddler, then it may be awesome. I enjoy mints of any kind....those little dinner mints are delicious. I also have been known to stay holed up in my rooms for days at a time, I enjoy my cave. Large masses of people scare me and by large I mean a dozen or so people. I love buying dvds regardless of if I've seen them or not. Sudoku is my favorite mini game and Monopoly is my favorite board game. I enjoy playing Tri-Ominos with my family because I usually win until my mother cheats or demands we play for 2 hours until she can beat us all. I make money to buy myself things by babysitting and cooking dinner for poor souls who don't know how. In short I'm happy, weird, and obsessed with food.

Well Lets Start Out With Me Saying That Im Not Your Typical Girl, Im Big, Beautiful And Proud, So If You Like That Type Of Thing Then Im Your Girl! I am a very outgoing person. I love to socialize and meet new people. But then I also have days were i just like to stay in and watch a movie :) I have a great family and great friends! I am looking for someone who knows where he is going in life and how he is going to get there. I would like this person to be caring and willing to hear me talk about anything that is on my mind at the moment. I love it when a guy can hold an amazing conversation for hours without it getting boring. Music is my biggest passion, so this person would have to have a big tolerance for hearing me sing :) I have a weakness for guys that play insturments, no biggie if you dont. Im looking for someone who doesnt have to go out every night and just stay in once in a while cuddling while watching a movie. Thought I'd add a little personality to this too. I'm basically pretty random. I like to write with a lot of ellipses (...) and short fragments. That's basically how I talk too. I also love to laugh (much like the song from Mary Poppins) and pull out random references to songs, musicals, movies and TV shows (as you just saw). I throw out obscure trivia all the time too (much like President Chester A. Arthur did). I also use sarcasm and bluff a lot, like that last comment about Arthur. I'd call myself a nerd...but a friendly one! I'm a showman, so I like public speaking and performing, but personally I'm much more reserved.

I have a positive attitude and an open mind. I enjoy the journey of life. I try not to sweat the small stuff. I read books that inspire me. I like to exercise. I enjoy movies, but I don't spend much time watching TV.

I have my own business so when I am not working I want to laugh and have fun.

I am attracted to confidence and humor. Compassion is a must.
